V1 Migration Status
V1 DAO memberships and NFTs will not migrate to V2. However, V1 license holders can get 20-50% discounts on fresh V2 licenses when the system launches.

ETCMCv2 is a completely new project built from the ground up.
Unlike typical upgrades, ETCMCv2 has almost nothing to do with the original ETCMC.
V2 Governance Model
A new governance model for V2 is planned.
V2 will have a completely different governance structure. There might be some form of appreciation for early V1 participants, but no guarantees or specific commitments.
